OUR FOCUS

We specialize in delivering informational web-sites for individuals and small businesses and organizations. We produce e-zines (web based magazines), educational sites, content, interaction and style for e-commerce, portfolio sites and many other types of informational sites. We also create email newsletters and powerpoint presentations.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We expect you will notice very little of our management methodology; because when it works right, you shouldn't notice it. We plan ahead and do not rely on re-active management as far too many people do. We are skilled at reacting to a problem quickly, but we excel at managing a project in a way that problems do not occur, and if they do, we have already thought about them and have a solution at hand.

It is not possible to find a company like ours with a superior technical abilities. Our senior technical people are at the top of their field. We develop technology efficiently, appropriately, and with the tools needed for your requirements. We literally have the entire spectrum of technology covered by true industry proven experts. We know technology expertly from the transistor level inside the chips in the computer to the best way to layout a web page for easy navigation, efficiently communicating ideas, and keeping your audience interested and pleased.

Our People

Dr. Sara Machlin

Dr. Machlin started BrainKinetics.com in the spring of 2001, with five years of web design experience under her belt. Prior to this, she was the lead designer at MountainZone.com, the premiere mountaineering website in the late 90's. In her pre-MountainZone life, she earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota and post-doc'd in the microbiology dept. at the University of Washington. The creative, analytical and managerial skills acquired during her years in science proved an excellent background for effective and efficient technology management.

In December, 2005, Brainkinetics.com spawned off its web development business onto its own web portal: area206.com. We did this to better define each of our core businesses: web development, technology and management consulting services, and web development and productivity tools.

Ken Waletzki

Mr. Waletzki came on board in 2002 as Chief Technology Architect. Prior to working for us, Mr. Waletzki worked for Intel where he worked as an engineer, validation architect, and manager. He also invented the KAOS firmware boot-loader (BIOS replacement and system test environment) which was the predecessor to today's EFI. At Intel he was personally responsible for getting Intel's most advanced technology to work.

Prior to Intel, Mr. Waletzki worked primarily as a consultant for such companies and institutions as Sony, Unisys, IBM, Rocketdyne, NASA and many others. His rich technical background covers a breadth of computer experience not easily found.

He has also had his own computer consulting business in the 80's and 90's. The primary technology was firmware, machine initialization code, and device drivers; Real-time OS internals development; and other computer systems engineering.

Although he has only one US Patent, it has 27 claims, and it is truly unique. He submitted more than a dozen validation and emulation related inventions for Intel Corp., but they choose to hold the inventions as Trade Secret rather than expose the technology to the public patent process.

Ken now works in such a way as to balance his interest in technology, the needs of the business, and his personal life.

And the Rest

We utilize a team of independent graphic artists, Flash animation programmers, and technical people. Many of these people we have maintained a close relationship for many years. Others, like the ever changing technology, are new.
